Christine Wachowiak, age 76 of Appleton, passed away at her home on September 30, 2017. She was born in New York State on September 10, 1941. Christine was lovingly known as “Grams”, and could light up any room with her beautiful smile and quirky sense of humor. She loved to knit, watch her great-grandchildren play, and especially enjoyed watching John Wayne movies. Grams had a kind heart, a fantastic spirit, and was full of spunk! She didn’t sugar coat anything and told it like it was. Heaven has gained an amazing angel and she will be missed dearly.
She is survived by three children: Candace Wachowiak, Jeffrey Wachowiak, and Denise (Brad) Dorin; her grandchildren include: Matthew, Amber, Kyle, Hunter, Jamie, Samantha, and Christopher; her great-grandchildren include: Levi, Renni, Kori, Jaxen, and Andrew. She is also survived by her sister: Carol (Mike) Szwaczkowski, as well as her dear friend Kelly Matelski and her children Addison and William.
A celebration of Christine’s life will be held at a later date.
