Floyd R. Slayton, 72, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on 12/17/18 due to health complications.
He was born on 5/1/1946 to the late Floyd and Ila Mae (Van Boven) Slayton in Appleton.
Throughout his life he enjoyed music and was an avid reader.
He lived in Tampa, Florida for many years before returning to Appleton in 1993.
Floyd is survived by his siblings, Cathy (Ed) Schimke, Winter, Richard Slayton, Madison and Susan (Craig) Taylor, Neenah. He is also survived by two nephews,
Chris (Crystal) Taylor and Andy (Rosie) Taylor and his great nephew Jackson Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
At Floyd’s request, there will be no service.
