Frances A. (Dominik) Kobierecki

Frances A. Kobierecki, age 97, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha, Wisconsin. She was born Septemebr 11, 1920, in Superioir, WI, daughter of the late John and Mary (Przybylka) Dominik, both from Lipnicia Dolna, Poland. She married Jerome John Kobierecki, Army Staff Sergeant, on December 24, 1944. She moved to San Francisco where her husband was stationed at the Army data processing center at the Presido. Fran worked for Montgomery Ward and transferred to their Chicago order office when World War II ended. In 1984, Fran retired as a sales auditor for JC Penney in Schaumburg, Illinois. They built and enjoyed a lake home at Apple River Canyon Lake in Jo Davies County, Illinois, while building a winter home in Lakeland, Florida. Fran was a talented seamstress and loved to play cards and bingo. Fran and Jerry shared 56 years together before his death on September 16, 2002 in Lakeland, FL.

Frances is survived by daughter, Susan (Joseph) Weber, Winter Springs, FL and son, Jerry (Jacquelyn) Kobierecki, Appleton, WI; Three grandsons, Rich (Melissa) Weber, Apoka, FL, Johnathan (Tanya Loranca) Weber, Casselberry, FL and Andrew (Kristina) Kobierecki, Appleton, WI; Great-grandchildren, Emilie and Douglas Weber, Ryder and Greysen Kobierecki.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ann and Josephine, and a brother, Chester.

Inurnment will take place at the Florida National Military Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Heart of the Valley Cremation Services of Kimberly, WI has assisted Fran’s family with arrangements.
