Jean Guse

Jean Guse, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2016. She was born July 15, 1930 to the late Hugh Ellis and Frana (Wendt) Magee. She was united in marriage to Oscar Guse and together they had six children. Jean focused the majority of her free time to caring for her family and her husband. Jean volunteered at the local Christian Science church and knit items for family, friends, and the needy. She donated many of the hats and mittens each year. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and riding around looking for deer. She also taught ceramics locally for many years.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Victoria (James) Spence, Greg (Vickie) Guse, Pam (Don) Alston, Bill (Shelly) Guse, Vern Guse, and Jon (Lea) Guse; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and Bob, her beloved dog.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Guse, and her brother, Don Magee.

A private memorial will be held to commemorate her life.
