John R. Combellick, age 77, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015. He was born on August 21, 1938 in Guelph, North Dakota to the late William F. and Karen M. (Bostrup) Combellick. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. John graduated from the University Wisconsin, Oshkosh. John was employed with the Northwestern newspaper as a reporter for twenty-five years before retiring.
He is survived by his sister, Dawn ( Harold ) Dakin; nieces, Rev. Jennifer (Rev. Herzen) Andone, Stephanie Hoeflin; nephew, Stanley (Annie) Dakin and four grandnephews.
