Joseph F. Frassetto

February 15, 1957 — December 7, 2021

Joseph Francis Frassetto, age 64, fell asleep in death on December 7, 2021, due to complications from Alzheimer’s. Joe was born in Appleton on February 15, 1957. A Kimberly native, Joe was the son of Francis “Fras” and Joan (Hanegraaf) Frassetto.
Joe attended and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1975, as well as from Fox Valley Technical Institute in 1977, receiving an Associate Degree in Accounting.
During his high school years, he played on the Jr. Varsity and Varsity basketball and baseball teams. After graduation, his love of sports turned to fishing (with many trips to the Gossens cottage on Lake Augustine and to lakes Poygan and Winnebago), and golf, a sport he dearly loved.
Joe was self-employed for most of his working career. His livelihood involved roofing and siding many homes in the Fox Valley, including helping many of the family members with their home remodeling projects.
On July 7, 2007, Joe married Patricia (Mirtica) from Duluth, Minnesota.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his children Heather (Darek) Stuber and Nick (Ashlee) Frassetto; his grandchildren Alysha Stuber, Kyler and Kaleb Frassetto, Trevor and Taylor Santkuyl, Myles, Emerald, Kendall and Kyree; his stepchildren Eric Santkuyl and Justin and Stefany Allison; and his siblings: Vickie (Gary) Gossens, Mary Fran (Tom) Erickson, Tina (Buck) Keller, Gino (Nancy) Frassetto, Lisa (Mike) Stumpf, Frank (Lori) Frassetto and Paula (Jim) Vander Loop.
Joe had many nieces, nephews and friends whom he dearly loved, and was loved by them in return.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Fras and Joan.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gardenview Assisted Living for their tireless and dedicated care for Joe through these past several months. Special thanks to Kayla, Hospice nurse from Asera Care, for the excellent, compassionate care she provided to Joe, and to “Jackie & Jackie,” Community Care managers who supported Joe and Patricia from the very beginning of this long journey.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up for the Wounded Warriors Project. Joe had a soft spot in his heart for these brave men and women.
A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held at a later date.
“I will see you later my love ~ in a better world. Until then, rest peacefully in God’s memory. Patricia (Rev 21:3,4)
