Sheri-Lynne Agnes Seymour

May 30, 1944 — April 2, 2020

Sheri-Lynne passed away peacefully on April 2, 2020 with family by her side. Sheri-Lynne was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on May 30, 1944 to Ivan Clayton McAfee & Martha-Eileen Wilson. Sheri-Lynne will be greatly missed by her 3 children Tyrone (Marcia) Teal, Ivan (Annette) Teal , & Tara-Gray Seymour (Eric) and her 12 Grandchildren: Samantha, Shawn, Amanda, Sarah, Lance, Luke, Autumn, Isaac, Alex, Quinn, Caleb & Neala & 4 Great Grandchildren, Kayden, Owen, Carson & Luna. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sheri-Lynne was the second youngest of 5 siblings. Sheri-Lynne was a beloved sister to Tom McAfee and predeceased by 3 siblings: Ron McAfee, Caroline Geisser & David McAfee. Sheri-Lynne grew up in Canada until her teens then moved to California. She met her three ex-husbands in Southern California, whom all predeceased her. Sheri-Lynne could be a spirited individual and anyone who could tame her love for life was rewarded with her enduring love and long lasting relationship. Sherri-Lynne was a fighter as she was a breast cancer survivor; she took her health very seriously always toting Vitamin E and Bee Pollen, amongst other natural remedies. Her children were most important to her as she moved from Vancouver, BC, her hometown, to Oshkosh Wisconsin in the early 1990’s to be closer to her children.

She lived in many places throughout her life, San Diego, CA, Seattle, WA, Kauai, HI, Greece, and most recently Appleton, WI. She worked many different and interesting jobs: acting, hypnosis, hair dresser, match maker, health care & writer. She loved to read and travel; her favorite and most memorable places were Egypt, Russia, Israel, England, & Ireland. Sherri-Lynne was a person that if you met her, she would be unforgettable. She definitely was a head turner when walking into a room of strangers. She loved to socialize and would have the most interesting conversations. She was always looking for the next challenge in her life, whether it was a new career opportunity or writing her own novel. Her only hurdle was technology where she would call her children and grandchildren to the rescue. She did own a laptop and occasionally would pop into her email to see what her brother Tom would send, mostly jokes and she enjoyed those tremendously. Laughter is the best medicine as it always would brighten her face with a great smile. Sherri-Lynne will be greatly missed by her family and friends, specifically Lil and Devon.

Due to the Covid-19 gathering restrictions, a private family service was held. A public service will be held at a later date.
