Thomas A Lemmens

On Saturday, February 27th, 2021, Thomas A. Lemmens, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at age 71.
Thomas was born September 20, 1949 in Green Bay WI to Arnold and Arlene Lemmens. Thomas worked many years for Murphy’s Construction, before opening his own Small Engine Shop (Tom’s Small Engine). Thomas married Suzanne Van Heuklon, and together they had four children Lori, Tammy, Todd, and Lisa.
Thomas was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He loved every minute he could get surrounded by family. When he wasn’t spending time with his wife, twins, and grandchildren you could find him betting his luck at the casino. He loved grilling out on the patio and watching the little grandkids play, fixing lawnmowers and cooking for his family. He also loved watching the birds from his recliner, playing ‘31’, and watching his favorite shows Match Game, Impractical Jokers and Rodeos. He especially enjoyed weekends away on casino trips with his wife, sister Sandie, “Cheeks” and her husband Pat, “Peaches”. Thomas also looked forward to his daily phone calls with Ron and Marlene (Van Heuklon).
Thomas was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene, father Arnold, stepmother Verna, and brother Marty. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Suzanne, his four children, and grandchildren Vanessa, Victoria, Victor and Maysin Miramontes, Sheyenne Wilson, Tony Sigl, Kelsey, Lilly and Lulu Madsen, and Michael Lemmens. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren Harrison and Maverick, as well as sisters Sandie Kossow and Judy Gosz.
Thomas was the main father figure to grandkids Vanessa, Sheyenne, Victoria, Victor and Maysin. The impression that he left on their hearts and souls will be one that they will never forget. His grandchildren thank him for that every single day.
His family would also like to extend a special thanks to his favorite caregiver, Desmond Posey. Desmond showed immense compassion and care when taking care of Thomas. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for taking such special care of him.
In accordance with Thomas' wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. instead, Thomas' family will celebrate his life by sharing stories, laughter, tears and meals with family and loved ones.
