Violet E. Berndt

Violet E. Berndt, age 88, of Kaukauna, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Appleton Medical Center. Violet was born on April 30, 1927, in Elton, Wisconsin, to the late John and LouTisha (Bowen) Lambert. She married Adolph Berndt on December 24, 1947, in Elton; he preceded her in death on January 30, 2003.
Survivors include her children, Bonnie (Terry) Waters; JoAnn Jantz; Al (Donna) Berndt; and LouTisha (Richard) Frank; her eight grandchildren, her ten great grand children, and her four great great grandchildren. Violet is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her two brothers.
During her entire life, Violet's focus was on her family. She especially enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with them.
Abiding by Violet's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Her family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center, and especially Dr. Michael Werner and his staff.
