Alvin (Al) Earl Hill, 76, passed away peacefully November 20th, 2024 with his daughters by his side.
Al was born on April 6, 1948 to Vernon Hill and Millie (Verhagen) Hill in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was in the Marines Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He later worked at Kimberly Clark for 15+ years and was able to retire at the young age of 55.
Being active was important to Al, and he was always on the move. Most of his time was spent with his family. His grandchildren gave him joy, and he loved to dog sit. When he wasn’t with his family, he was walking at the mall and making friends with everyone he passed by. Al loved to chat with anyone and everyone whether it was about the gas prices, the news, or the weather. It seemed like he was always pulling pranks and joking around. He will be greatly missed.
Al is survived by his loving daughters: Andrea (Travis) Feldkamp and Stacy Hill; seven grandchildren: Lynnea, Natilee, Nolan, Vada, Evan, Michaela, and Rylan; three grand pups: Teva, Zeus, and Zona; sister and brother: Marion and Bernie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his parents: Vernon Hill and Millie (Verhagen) Hill; and brother: Jim Hill.
We are respecting Al’s wishes and will not be holding a funeral. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
