André Lanouette, age 56 , of Appleton died on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Cherry Meadows Hospice following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 21, 1958 in Quebec City, Quebec, the son of Louis Lanouette and Hilda Beston Lanouette. He moved to the U.S. in the early 1980's to complete his PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. André enjoyed engineering and aviation, and he was a dedicated member of the Fox Cities Triathalon Club.
André is survived by his children: Christina of Norfolk, Virginia and Alex of Appleton, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his three sisters: Louise of Montreal, Madeleine of Oakville, Ontario, and Denyse of Montreal; his brother-in-law: Mike Henthorn of Oakville, Ontario; four nieces, and thirteen grand-nephews and nieces. No funeral services will be held. A memorial service will be planned for early June.
