Andy "Cosmo Joe" Watkins

Andy Cosmo Joe Watkins passed way peacefully on July 14, 2025. He succumbed to injuries due to an accident.

Andy was born on March 26, 1977 in West Allis, Wisconsin. At the gifted and talented school in Milwaukee he played in the Jazz band. In 1990, his family moved to Menasha where he attended Menasha High School.

Andy was the son of Francis “Red” and Susan Gallagher Watkins. His siblings were Matthew (Rosa) Watkins of Bolivar, Missouri, and Tammy Watkins.

Andy was a self taught spray paint artist. He also developed a passion for Dungeons and Dragons. He often helped other players raise their level of gaming. His teammates could always depend on him to help. His tables for gamers were shipped all over the country. He also developed RPEX, Phoenix Con, the first gaming convention in Appleton, WI.

Surviving nieces and nephews; Mordecai Watkins, Aiden Perry-Rydz, Oliver Watkins, Alexandra Polmatier, and Genevieve Polmatier; and many cousins and aunts and uncles.

On August 12, 2025, the memorial service will be held at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 803 E. College Avenue, Appleton, WI. The visitation will be held at 1:00 PM and the service at 2:00 PM.
