Barbara Jean Polakowski

On Friday, March 11, 2022 with her family by her side, Barbara Jean Polakowski past onto eternal life with her family by her side to join her husband Jerry and forever friend Jesus.

Barb (85) was born on June 12, 1936 in West Allis, Wisconsin. Barb married Jerry Polakowski on May 14, 1955. They enjoyed 58 years together before he left for his eternal home. Barb and Jerry were devout Catholics and members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Darboy, Wisconsin.

Besides her loving husband Jerry, she was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Marie (Fitzpatrick) Clendenning, 3 brothers Pat, Mike, Jim. Two sisters Helen and Donna, as well as very special friend Pat Calnin-Baum.

Surviving are her sons Gerald Jr. (Sharon) Polakowski of Hancock Wi. Randy (Karen) Polakowski of Lake Worth Fl.
Two brothers Tom (Linda) Clendenning Plainfield Wi, and Bill (Shirley) Clendenning of Wisconsin Rapids Wi. And 2 sister-in-laws; Patricia Clendenning of Schofield Wi and Carol Clendenning of North Freedom Wi.

Barb was a proud homemaker. She loved gardening and took great pride in her home.
Barb also loved making memories with her family and spending all the time she could with all her grandchildren.

Barb enjoyed being a waitress for over 30 years at the Knights of Columbus Club in Appleton.
Her favorite vacations were spending winter months at Sunny Sands in Jupiter Florida with her husband, friends and family.

Barbs 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren were the light of her life. They will cherish the memories of her and the loving times they shared.

We would like to extend a thank you to the entire staff at Primrose and Compassus Care. As well as special friends and family for all the exceptional care given to Barb.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Darboy.  A time of visitation will be held from 10:00am until the memorial service begins. There will be a celebration of life luncheon to follow at The Stone Toad Bar and Grill beginning at 1:00pm.

We love you mom, grandma Barb. We will miss you and remember the important place you hold in our hearts.
