Betty Schilpp

Betty (Kuettel) Schilpp, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born on April 17, 1939, to the late Harry and Frances (Jakubiak) Kuettel in Ellington, Wisconsin. Betty was a lifelong resident of the Dale and Hortonville area and graduated from Hortonville High School.

She married Rolf Schilpp on July 2, 1960. They had 5 children, Robert (Robin), William (Gwynn), Chris Zeinert, Sonya (David) Covington, and Anneliese (Jefferson) Hill.

In addition to her children, she is survived by her Stepfather-in-law Hans Muller, a Brother-in-lawSeigfried (Angelika), Sister-in-law Nancy/Donald Kuettel, Sister-in-law Kathy/Richard Kuettel and Sister-in-law Susan/Jerry Kuettel. 12 grandchildren Michael (Anita), Amanda (Ben), Nicole (Reed), Jeremy, Josef (Katie), Nicholas, Philip (Brittany), Erik (Katrina), Cody (Brittany), Reece, Ty and Trent. She is also survived by 18 Great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, many more relatives, great friends and Jerry.

Betty worked at Hillshire Farm for 30 plus years before retiring in 2001. She was a very kind and loving mother, and a cherished grandmother. She loved to cook for and spend every minute she could with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Dr’s and nurses at ThedaCare Regional Hospital in Neenah for the exceptional care of Betty and our family during this difficult time.

A visitation and prayer service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Zion United Church of Christ (located in Dale, WI) W9815 WI-96, Fremont WI, with visitation from 3:30 - 5:00pm and prayer service beginning at 5:00pm, with burial to follow.
