Seymour

Brian A. Stehsel, 44, of Seymour, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, following a well-fought battle with cancer. He was born on October 8, 1979, to the late Arlen and Mary ( Van De Laarschot) Stehsel. He grew up in Green Bay and was a 1998 graduate of Green Bay West High School.

On October 18, 2003, he was united in marriage to Aimee Janssen with a reception held at their favorite place, Titletown Brewery.

A fan of craft beer, Brain enjoyed brewery hopping on the weekends with Aimee. He was also a lover of animals, 80's music, playing World of Warcraft, and a nice glass of scotch with friends. Brian was known for his big heart and always saw the good in people. He was easy to talk to and a great listener. These traits led him to be very successful in his job as a Service Advisor at Van's Honda where he spent 18 years. In his time there, Brian gained very loyal customers that also became friends. He enjoyed chatting with them about their lives and enjoyed sharing his.

He is survived by his wife: Aimee; mom: Mary Stehsel; brother: Joe (Erica) Stehsel; chosen brothers: Jason Houge and Nick (April) Verstoppen; parents-in-law: Jan and Linda Janssen; sister-in-law: Sarah (Miguel) Medina; nieces: Juniper and Sophia; nephew: Wyatt, and his furry kids: Zoey and Sherman. He is further survived by many aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In following Brian's wishes, a funeral will not be held.

Special thanks to the team at Green Bay Oncology, his favorite chemo nurses for making treatment a little more bearable, the ladies at the reception desk who he enjoyed joking with, his team at Unity Hospice, nurse Josephine, CNA Heather, chaplain Nicole, and social worker Ashley. Thank you for some great memories through all of this.
