Carol A. Campbell

Carol Ann (Koeune) Campbell, age 66, town of Vinland, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on August 14, 2025. She was born August 7, 1959, in Evanston, Illinois. Daughter of August and Irene (Didier) Koeune.

She grew up in Skokie, Illinois. For the first 14 years of her life and spent her remaining years in the Fox Valley area. She was happily married to Joesph Campbell for 41 years. She retired from the Neenah Foundry after 30 years. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother.

She is survived by her mother Irene (Didier) Koeune, 5 sisters Pat (Jim) Wietzema, Kathy Halonen, Jackie (Bill) Slaasted, Mary (Tj) Engelke, Sue ( Judy) Koeune-Brown; 5 brothers Fr. August, Mike Koeune, Steve Koeune, Dan (Debbie) Koeune, Joe (Janet) Kouene, many nieces and nephews, daughters Amy (Craig) Bobrowitz, Sara (Chris) Wilkinson, sons Joseph (Tori) Campbell, Chet Campbell, 7 grandchildren Kyler, Rylie, Elaina, Kayleigh, Marianna, Aniyah, Zayden, , plus many brothers and sisters in law.

Carol is preceded in death August Koeune, her husband Joseph Campbell, her brother Thomas Kouene, brother-in-law Bob Halonen, sister-in-law Darlene, plus other brothers and sisters in law, and nephews Michael, Danny, and Justin.

Carol had a huge heart. She truly loved the simplicities life had to offer, her family, and her friends. She spent her time gardening, crocheting, playing cards, camping, and loving her furry babies. She was a “wit” of a woman and a wonder woman in every way! She will forever be missed by all who loved and met her!
