Clair Arnold Brown

Clair Arnold Brown, 90, Neenah, WI, Loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed unexpectedly, December 24, 2022, at home, in Neenah. He was born on March 11 1932 in Northville, MI the son of Walford and Bessie (Dingman) Brown. Clair graduated from Northville High School in 1950 and met Nancy Litsenberger during their high school years. They were married on June 30, 1951, at Nancy’s parents home in Northville. Shortly after, they moved to the Virginia Beach area where Clair was stationed in the US Navy until 1954 when they returned to Northville. Clair worked for 18 years for the Ford Motor Company Tractor Division, eventually leaving Ford to take over and run the Appleton, WI Ford dealership known as Fox Cities Ford Tractor from 1970 until 1975 Clair then sold the dealership to Ford and attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh to finish his college degree with a BBA in Accounting in 1978.  He then returned to working in the agriculture field for several equipment manufacturers in sales in Idaho, in Hilbert, WI with Arps, and in Rockford IL with Woods Corp.  Clair and Nancy retired and moved to Mesa AZ, then eventually back to the Fox Valley.  Clair loved golf, gardening, crafting birdhouses, recently water colors, and University of Michgan Football and Basketball, Go Blue! 

Nancy preceded Clair in death in March of 2020.

Clair is survived by his 2 sons Scott (Patty) and Duane (Ellen) of Neenah. 4 Grandchildren.  Lauren Sell (Jerry) of Sherwood WI, Eric Brown (Katie) of Appleton WI, Shauna Piotter (Joshua) of Fond du Lac WI, Nicole Radler (Andrew) Germantown WI, and 7 Great grandchildren.
