Daniel A. Brooks

Daniel Anthony Brooks at the age of 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at home in Fond du lac. He was born on May 13, 1955, in Milwaukee, the son of John and Mary (Baranja) Brooks. Dan was a proud Marine with 12 years of service. He was in the evacuation of the Vietnam War at the young age of 18. He was a proud American. Dan’s world revolved around his Daughter April (Jeff) Mutza and his five beautiful grandchildren; Nathan, Kayla, Lilly, Ace and Bryce, who survive him and will miss him dearly. To say he was proud of his family is an understatement.

He is also survived by his siblings Jean Brooks, John (Lyn) Brooks, Jody (Gary) Kuzmic, Jeff Brooks, Ann (Bob) Lancour, William Brooks, Michelle (Steve) Blasier, Mary (Dave) Braun and by his many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary as well as his brothers Gary and Ronny.

A private memorial service for family will be held for Dan at a later date.
