Daniel J. Wagner

Daniel J. Wagner, age 65, from Chilton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023, with family by his side at St Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1958, to Ervin and Joyce Wagner of Jericho, WI. The only son out of four children.

 

Daniel grew up on the farm and had many careers throughout life, but none of them more fulfilling than being a husband, dad and grandpa. He loved to hunt, fish, go camping and annoy his wife and children. One thing he couldn’t do was wrap a gift, but that didn’t stop him from always giving. 

 

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Anita, as well as his daughters: Jen(Mike) Mousseau, Laurie(Tong) Schmid and Andrea(John) Thaves. His grandchildren: Chayton, Cheyanne, Austin, Abigayle, Travis, Uriah, Noah and Steven. His buddy Ludo the Puppy. His sisters: Carol Wagner of Vale, Arizona, JoAnne(Joe) Steffes of Johnsburg, Debbie(Joe) Calaway of Jericho. Close family friends Johnathan and Ashton. As well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

 

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Joyce. As well as other loved ones.

 

Family would like to thank the ICU staff at St Elizabeth Hospital, especially Sam, for all the care and compassion during this time. Thank you LaTanya and the staff of Versiti. Also thank you to Heart of the Valley for cremation and inurnment services.
