Dennie died unexpectedly on January 15th, 2026, with his family by his side.
Dennie was born on November 22nd, 1946, in Appleton, WI to Cecelia Noffke. He worked for Dorn’s Delivery and Transfer for over 40 years. He had “more miles going backwards, then you have going forward”. In his younger years he played softball and pool for the Maritime Tavern and many other local tavern leagues. He was united in marriage to Lois Kohl in 1974 and together they had two daughters. One of his passions was fishing for walleye and spending time on Lake Poygan at the family cottage. During his daughters’ high school sporting events he was their number one fan! His other passion was spending time with his granddaughter, “Sam, Sam”. He looked forward to picking her up every day during her school years. He was also an avid Minnesota Vikings, Milwaukee Brewers and Nascar enthusiast. Dennie was known to some as the “Mayor of Pleasant Court”. He enjoyed people and everyone he met was a friend.
He is survived by his wife; Lois of 52 years, daughters Wendy (Cory) Tuchscherer, Julie (boyfriend Alex), and granddaughter Samantha Tuchscherer aka “Sam, Sam” (boyfriend Cade). In addition, he is survived by a brother John Noffke and Lois’s large family of brothers and sisters, all who held their own special place in Dennie's heart as well.
Proceeded in death by his mother Cecelia Noffke, father and mother-in-law Lawrence and Agnes Kohl, brother Jimmy Noffke, his brother-in-law Bob Nolan, and niece Lisa Wartchow.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all their wonderful neighbors, with special acknowledgment to his best friend, Bill Rice, whose constant willingness to lend a helping hand is deeply valued. The family is especially grateful for the many moments they spent together simply sitting and talking.
Thank you to all the EMTs, Fox Crossing Police, and First Responders for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name. A celebration of life is scheduled at Holidays Bar and Grill, 1395 W American Drive, Neenah on Saturday, January 31st from 1pm-4pm.
