Donald R. LaFountain
December 29, 1925 — April 17, 2016
Donald R. LaFountain, age 90, of Neenah, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born December 29, 1925. Don proudly served his country in WWII as a SeaBee - SF3C with the US 71st Naval Battalion, serving in 3 different campaigns. He loved the Upper Michigan outdoors and his "pet" wildlife.
He is survived by his sister Diane Royce, his sons Daniel (Pat), Richard, Donald (Barb), daughter Laura (Jeff) Brockman, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, parents and son Perry.
A memorial service will be held on Friday April 29, 2016, at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Memorial Park 1451 Green Valley Rd Neenah. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the local Alzheimer's Foundation (http://www.alz.org/join_the_cause_donate.asp)
