Edmund "Ed" Awe Jr., age 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 peacefully at his son's home in Kaukauna, WI.

Born on September 9, 1941, Ed was raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and attended Sheboygan Catholic School then graduated from Central High. He worked at multiple factory facilities in Sheboygan before touring the country as a truck driver.

On October 15, 1966, Ed married Judith (Brezoni) Awe in Sheboygan. Together, they built a life centered around their family, raising four children, and sharing nearly 45 years of marriage before Judith's passing in 2011. Ed enjoyed going on camping trips in the early years with family and friends, and once the kids were out of the house, they started cruising which they both loved.

Ed was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Ed is survived by his four children, Kathy (Jim) Erdmann-Leonhard, Gary (Heather) Awe, Cory (Karen) Awe, and Danny (Merici) Awe; and six grandchildren, Carson, Lily, Landon, Madeline, Annabelle, and Emilia. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Pukisch and sister in-law Karen (Bob) Rutkowski along with other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith (Brezoni) Awe.
