Edward Peter Vroman

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Peter Vroman, age 71, on July 17, 2025. He was born in Phelps, Wisconsin, to the late Roy and Dorothy Vroman.

Ed was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend––and he shared the gift of friendship with all that met him. Throughout his life he enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, fishing and hiking, as well as camaraderie with family and friends. He delivered paperback books and magazines to stores throughout the Fox Valley for Badger Periodicals/Chas. Levy Circulating/Source Interlink for many years. In his retirement his grandchildren brought him his greatest joy.

He is survived by his wife Laura (Krautkramer) Vroman; his daughters Andrea (Russ) Hudack and Allison (Jon Parsons) Vroman; his sister Jean Davis and brother Al (Cindy) Vroman; his grandchildren Drake, Ivy and Reid; his in-laws Kate, Mary and Doc, Mike and Annie, Ricki, Steve and Edde, and Barb; and many other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; father-and-mother-in-law Fred and Jane Krautkramer; his brother Jim Godeck and sister Mary Ann Dakins; his in-laws Les Davis and P.D. Krautkramer; and his grandson Teague.

Per Ed’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
