Frank Nagy, 82, a resident of Menasha, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Frank was born in Torrington, Connecticut on May 24, 1941.
Frank graduated from Torrington High School and earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Florida. He was a Psychologist at the Neuropsychiatric Pain Rehabilitation Clinic in New Port Richey, Florida, a Counseling Psychologist and Adjunct Faculty member at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, and Clinical Director of Counseling Services and Counseling Psychologist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama.
Frank was an alumnus of the University of Florida and an avid Florida Football fan. GO GATORS!! He also liked watching the Green Bay Packers. Frank was a competitive tennis player, lawn bowler, and scrabble enthusiast. Frank enjoyed the outdoors and biking. He spent many hours walking. He especially enjoyed the trails at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve in Menasha and was a supporter of this organization. He will be remembered for his kindness and diplomacy by family and friends in Wisconsin, Florida, and Connecticut.
He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his life partner of 43 years, Mary Lenhard and her daughter Tara Lenhard. He is also survived by Kathy Flynn and Roger (Donna) Pionek.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank Andrew Nagy and Anna (Dutil) Nagy, his son Deron Todd Nagy and good friend Don Flynn.
There will be a private family gathering to celebrate his life which will be held in Fond Du Lac in the near future.
