Geovonne Seemann

Geovonne “ Geo” Seemann, age 84, passed away unexpectedly September 14th surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in 1938 to Ira and Doris Schara. She attended schools in Port Edwards and Wisconsin Rapids, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1956. In 1956 she married her childhood sweetheart. Together they had three children; Kenneth, Cynthia, and Karen Strand.

 After raising her children, she worked at Wells Mfg. for many years. When she wasn't busy caring for others she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren, cooking, gardening, going up north to their trailer, watching movies, girls’ weekends at the casino and keeping in touch with her many relatives and friends.

 Of the many who will miss her dearly are her husband of 50 years, Gerald Seemann, daughters, Cynthia and Karen (Jim) Smit, brother Larry (Dee) Schara, sister Judy (Tom) Heisl, three grandchildren, twelve greatgrandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, two brothers’ in-law, six sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth, a sister, Jackie Taddey and her parents.

 A 10:00AM visitation and a 11:00AM Service of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday September 22nd at Hope Lutheran Church 260 Vincent St., Fond du Lac WI with Pastor Phillip Enderle officiating.
