Glenna R Morawek (age 89) - loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma passed over into eternal life on Sunday August 9, 2026. Glenna was born on July 29, 1937 in New London, WI. She was the only child of the late Clifford and Sadie Carey. She graduated from New London High School in 1955. Glenna married Donald Morawek in 1957. Together they raised three children in Appleton, WI.

As a young girl, Glenna grew up on a farm in Lebanon, WI and later moved to New London, WI with her parents. After high school graduation, she secured her beautician’s license; following in her mother’s footsteps. After Don and Glenna started their family, Glenna worked for Outagamie County Health Center as a nursing assistant for the rest of her working years. As a mother, Glenna loved spending time with her children, especially yearly vacations with the family. Don and Glenna enjoyed trips out West with the children and grandchildren, making many precious memories. In their retired years, Don and Glenna enjoyed going out for a piece of pie and coffee to socialize with the locals. Glenna’s great grandchildren were her joy and comfort; when they came into a room her face always lit up.

Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Morawek, her son Douglas Morawek and her parents Clifford and Sadie Carey (nee Morack). She is survived by her children Khristine (Eugene) Miller & Sara (Greg) Wipperman; daughter-in-law Sandra Sutta; grandchildren Brittany (Brandon) Suemnicht, Casandra Wipperman, Mariah (Austin) Lau, and Jessica Drossart; great grandchildren Aria Wipperman, August, Hattie and Archer Lau, Maddox and Isla Suemnicht.

The family would like to extend appreciation and gratitude for the compassionate care Glenna was provided by Havenfield at Chilton and the Calumet County Hospice team.

Glenna and her family also extend a very special thank you to Michelle, Sheila and Sue who visited Glenna regularly and became like family during these last two years. Those visits brightened mom’s days.

Per Glenna’s wishes, private family services will be held and then Glenna and Don will rest together where the buffalo roam.
