Harry E. Wilson, age 98, was called to his heavenly home on November 20, 2025.

Harry was born on May 18, 1927 in Chicago, Il., to Harry and Anna Wilson.

Harry was raised in Chicago, Il. After graduating from Lane Tech, he served in the Marines and was stationed in China patrolling the Great Wall. Upon his return he played pro baseball for the Chicago White Sox. Following a serious car accident, Harry decided to further his education by enrolling at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. There, he dedicated himself to his studies and graduated with a degree in History and Economics. While attending college he met his wife Dona. Eventually they moved to Kaukauna, where they raised 2 children. Harry taught at Kaukauna High School for 34 years. He also coached football and baseball. He was passionate about teaching and often remarked, "I enjoyed my job every single day."

Our family will remember many vacations together. Harry loved family time, coffee with friends, sports, fishing, dancing, and travel. He was fortunate to travel to many places around the world.

Harry was predeceased by his parents, mother- and father-in-law, his wife Dona, his sisters Delores and Ruth, sister-in-law Joyce, and his close friend Donna.

He is survived by his brother William Wilson and wife Lynn. Harry leaves behind two children: Tim Wilson and his wife Rhonda, and Christine Otto and her husband Randy. He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Amie Romenesko and her husband Keith, Brandon Otto and his wife Tabby, Lyndsey Wilson, and Kyle Wilson.

Two great-grandchildren, Nixon Romenesko and Quinn Romenesko, whose presence brought him immense happiness. In addition, Harry was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. His warmth, kindness, and enduring spirit will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched within his extended family.

Our family would like to sincerely thank Country Villa (Freedom) for the care and compassion they showed Harry. We also want to thank Heartland Hospice for their kindness and care.
