Jeff "Monkey" Moran

Jeff "Monkey" Moran, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4th, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born on April 23rd, 1952, in Menasha, the son of Harlan and Anne (Connor) Moran. He retired from JJ Plank in 2014 as a machinist. Jeff was united in marriage to Vicki (Brammer) Moran on September 28th, 1985, at St. Timothy's in Menasha. Over their 38 years of marriage they built a home in Appleton where they raised their two children, spent many nights by the fire in the backyard, hosted family holidays and once the kids grew, began to travel. Jeff enjoyed golfing, taking care of his immaculate lawn, keeping his garages clean and organized, watching the Packers and Brewers, and, for the last four years, being the best Papa to Remi Jo.

Jeff is survived by his wife: Vicki Moran; children: Travis (Jenny Conery & her daughter Zoey) Moran and Kelly (Devin) Zettler; grandchildren: Remi Zettler and new grandbaby Zettler arriving in December; mother: Anne Moran; brothers-in-law: Doug Brammer, Shawn (Shannon) Vanderlois; nieces: Danyelle, Alexis (Kyle), Holly (Corey), and Jordy. He is also survived by golf buddies and close friends that became family, including: Dave Thurber, Ron Ebben, Dave "Chops" Haese, Dick Muench, Tom Taylor and Jim O'Brien. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Harlan Moran; sister: Sandy Moran; brother: John Moran; mother-in-law: Dawn Bartel; father-in-law: Gordon Brammer; and sister-in-law: Helen Brammer.

Friends and family are invited to join a celebration of Jeff's life from 1 - 4pm, Sunday, August 27th, at Mid Vallee Golf Course - 3850 Mid Valley Dr. De Pere, WI 54115. Refreshments will be provided. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been created for the continued care of his beautiful lawn.

I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you, but in reality you spent the rest of your life with me. I smile because I know you loved me until the day you went away, and I will keep on loving you until we're together again! Love, Your Wife
