Jennifer Johnson-Sommers

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jennifer Johnson-Sommers, 67, at her home on August 31, 2022.

Jennifer is loved and adored by everyone as mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Jennifer was the strongest person we knew. She had a true free spirit with a kind heart and brave soul. Her compassion, generosity and thoughtfulness of others & animals alike had no bounds.

Above all, Jennifer was a cherished mother who loved her daughter, Ailie. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ailie and Shep Ashton; grandson, Colton; siblings, Thomas and Jay Johnson; companion, Jerome van der Heyden; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jeff Johnson.

In memory of Jennifer, we have donated many household items to her local community and the Salvation Army.
