Joanna M Lesniak

Joanna Maria Lesniak, 38, of Appleton, Wisconsin died peacefully on December 12 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin after a brief illness.

Joanna was born September 29, 1985 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Michael & Christina Lesniak. A devoted daughter, sister, and friend, Joanna enjoyed all genres of music and was an avid gamer. Joanna always had a fondness for helping people in need. Her final act was to give the gift of life to others through organ and tissue donation.

Joanna is survived by her parents, Mike and Tina, siblings Jonathan, Samantha and Michael Jr., and nephews Ryker and Everett.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Joanna. The family would like to express a sincere appreciation to Joanna’s nurses and doctors who tended to her, and to UW Organ and Tissue Donation for their care and compassion.
