Joyce Maryland Schneider

NEENAH –

Joyce Maryland Schneider, age 84, passed away on July 21, 2025, while in hospice care at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin.

She was born on June 29, 1941, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Elsie (Wacholtz) Faust. On August 19, 1961, Joyce married Robert E. Schneider in Oshkosh. They shared many years together before his passing on June 4, 2016.

Joyce is lovingly remembered by her children: Cindy (Jaye) McDonald, Jeff (Wendy), Greg (Dana), and Deborah (Jerry) Bures; two stepchildren; seventeen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Bernie, Audrey, Dennis, Ronnie, and Shirley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Arthur, Robert, David, William, Carroll, Thomas, and Gordon.

Joyce was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her unwavering sense of integrity and commitment to doing what was right left a lasting impression on those around her. She touched many lives with her strength and compassion and will be deeply missed.

Joyce’s family would like to thank ThedaCare Hospice in hospital for all their loving care.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or Celebration of Life service.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
