Kurt Nyback

Kurt Nyback, 51, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on September 13, 2026.

Kurt was the kind of person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a strong work ethic and was always the first to lend a helping hand. If someone needed support, Kurt was there without hesitation. He was truly the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back.

He enjoyed tinkering around with cars, spending time 4-wheeling, and heading up north whenever he had the chance. Whether he was working on a vehicle, exploring the trails, or enjoying time around the campfire burning sticks and a cold bud light with family and friends, his memory will live in the hearts of all who knew him.

Kurt is survived by his mother, Linda Samson (stepfather Bob Samson); his brother, Chad Nyback (Sarah Ofenbeck); his nephews, Craig Nyback and Jacob Nyback; and his niece, Madelyn Ofenbeck.

Though he is gone, Kurt's family and friends will always hold his memory close, taking comfort in knowing that his kindness and generous spirit continue to live on in those he touched. 

Arrangements, in Kurt's own words, are: "No funeral. I don't want anyone looking at me when I am dead."

To know Kurt was to love him.
