LeeAnn Hendricks

September 2, 1939 — July 2, 2023

Appleton

Lee entered the arms of the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2023. She loved working on puzzles, gardening, different projects around the house, shopping at Wal-Mart and loved to be outside. Lee was very social and made friends easily wherever she went whether it be in New Mexico, Mankato, MN, or Wisconsin. Lee had friends who loved her. The people that knew her recognized that she was a strong-spirited spitfire, but she always tried to do things for people.

Lee had too many talents to name. She would tackle anything.

She loved the holidays and when Christmas came around watch out, the house had to be decorated inside and out.

Lee will be dearly missed by her long-time friend and caregiver, Jennifer Kusnier.

Lee is survived by her son, Todd Hendricks (Kelly), Grandchildren: Brandon, TJ, and Alyssa, Great Grandson, Kayden, her dear friend Virginia, Nancy M., and many other friends she has met and cherished through the years.

Jennifer would like to thank the hospice team from Theda Care specifically Lee’s RN, Brianna; CNA, Ida; and special volunteer, Joyce that came to visit Lee once per week.

Lee was a member of Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church and many thanks to the pastors especially Pastor Weimer that had visited Lee during different stays at hospitals or short-term nursing home recovery periods. When Lee was well enough, she would attend the Saturday night service because she enjoyed the contemporary service and it reminded her of our home church in Muskego, WI.

Lee did not want a full service so in honoring her wishes, there will be a graveside service at Highland Memorial Park located at 14875 W Greenfield Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151. Tentative date is 9/1/23 the time To Be Determined.
