Lynn Wruck Klatt, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at home with her loving daughter and dog Duke by her side. She was born September 23, 1941 in Neenah, the daughter of DeWayne and Myrtle (Prahl) Wruck. Lynn graduated from Neenah High School in 1959 and obtained her X-ray Technician license in 1961 from Milwaukee County Hospital.

In 1961, Lynn married Frederic W Klatt of Neenah (d. May 10, 2020). They eventually moved to the northwest suburban Chicago area where they spent almost 17 years working and raising their two children. No matter where she was living, Lynn always considered Neenah to be her home. Nearly every Friday she would pack the car with the kids and dog and head home to spend the weekend with her parents, brothers, and other family.

Lynn was a hard worker and enjoyed many careers throughout her life; some of which included an x-ray technician at a private doctor’s office, a teamster forklift driver for Sara Lee, and a customer service clerk at Piggly Wiggly. As hard as she worked, she also tried to have some fun at each job and made many good friends through the years.

Lynn’s love of family and desire to be near them finally brought her back to the Fox Valley area in 1991. She cherished the last 30 plus years spent with family and friends, her pets, puttering around the house, making crafts, and gardening in the yard. In addition, Lynn loved her trips to Maysville, KY to laugh, eat, and play cards with her favorite aunt and cousins.

Lynn is survived by her children Brian Bennett and Tami Klatt; brothers Ronald (Judy) Wruck and James (Louisa) Wruck; aunt Anita Blakefield; step-mother Anita Wruck; sister-in-law Linda Klatt, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister-in-law Mary Ann Wruck. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her in-laws William, Viola, Susan, Daniel, Lois, Rachel, Elmer, Ruth, and Don.

Per Lynn’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Anyone who desires, may make a donation to their favorite animal rescue or shelter in her honor.

Lynn’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Compassus Hospice Care for their compassion and the exceptional care provided by nurses Soni and Liz.
