Mary Adeline Komorny

Mary Adeline Komorny entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at her home in Kimberly, Wisconsin, embraced by her family. She was born on September 13th, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Jesse and Mary (Myrice) Cutcher.

Mary embarked on the most beautiful chapter of existence when she married the love of her life, Fritz (Frederick) Komorny in San Diego, CA (1944). Their love story was one of serendipity and deep connection; one that Mary often loved to share with those around her. Throughout her life, Mary found fulfillment and purpose in her roles as a devoted homemaker and loving mother. Her unwavering dedication to creating a warm and nurturing home enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her role as a mother extended far beyond the confines of a traditional job, as she selflessly poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren and fostering a sense of unity and love within her family.  

Mary is survived by her children: Robert (Veronica) Komorny and Suzanne Poole; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Frederick Komorny; daughter and son: Nancy Alford and Jesse Komorny; Parents Jesse and Mary Cutcher; and her sister Jean Staler and brothers Bill, Joe, and Jesse Jr Cutcher.

There will be no funeral, per Mary’s request.  She will be cremated, then buried with her mother in Oregon, OH - date to be determined.
