Michael Roy Witt, 78, passed away peacefully at Ballard Glenn Assisted Living in Appleton, WI, March 6, 2026. Born in Neenah WI on Jan 20, 1948, the third of 6 children. Mike was one of the nicest guys you could meet. He had a kind heart and a gift of gab. Mike had many stories and jokes to tell and could easily engage you in conversation. One of his favorites was the Mickey and Minnie Mouse joke. He told it so well, we laughed every time. He spent his younger adult years filled with wanderlust. After spending 4 years in the Air Force primarily in Germany, he was a union carpenter in Florida, St Croix, and Colorado. After returning to Neenah, he enjoyed crafting exquisite model boats and propelling them around in the pool.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Frank H & Muriel Miller Witt, oldest brother Frank A Witt and brother-in-law Dan Koller. Also, his beloved dog Dobie is waiting for him in heaven. He is survived by siblings Mary Koller, Dan (Linda) Witt, Dave (Debi) Witt, and Jenny (Lew) Holinbeck as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Shout out to his special friend Lauren who was his shining star for the last 6 years. Mike will live in our hearts forever.
