Nan Jervais Duthie

Nan Duthie, age 92 of Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away May 9, 2022.  She was born September 20, 1929 in Elgin, Illinois to the late Harry and Amy Lowry.

After they met at Lawrence College, Appleton, Wisconsin, Nan married Robert W. Duthie on July 1, 1950.  Nan was a volunteer for Leaven, Inc., Appleton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels and a member of Silver Cross Circle of Kings Daughters, Fortnightly, and Pi Beta Phi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Duthie and her parents, Harry and Amy Lowry. 

She is survived by her children, Scott (Gail) Duthie and their children, Abby (Tony) Bevis and Ian (Jess) Duthie, Sara (Guy) Meyerhofer and their children, Megan (Kevin) Fitzsimmons and Amy (Josh) Richie, Susan (John Skoglund – deceased) and her nine great grandchildren: Ben and Loren Vorthmann, Colin, Alex and Leah Fitzsimmons, Colby and Cooper Richie, Luke and Evan Duthie. She is further survived by her brother John (Peg) Lowry and a special cousin, Betty Timm. 

She was known as Nanna and loved her family dearly.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
