IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicole I.
Herschberger
August 15, 1987 – March 7, 2026
Nicole Irene Herschberger, age 38 of Kimberly, Wisconsin passed away on March 7 2026. She passed peacefully at her home, where she was happy to be. She was born on August 15, 1987 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert Parcher and Debra Weldy (Haufe). Despite Robert Parcher being her biological father, Michael Haufe, Debra Weldy's husband, raised Nicole as his own from a young age. Nicole graduated from Preble High School in 2005, then she pursued higher education at Globe university. She graduated in 2013, holding a degree as a Medical Assistant (MA). She worked at many places, including Bellin Health ER in Green Bay, Anna's House in New Franken, and working for private in-home nursing.
Nicole loved to go out with friends for karaoke and have a few drinks. Nicole really enjoyed being outside in the summer, having campfires, and making sure she had her nails done nicely. Nicole was an amazing cook. She loved to try new things in the kitchen and different restaurants - she was a foodie. Nicole couldn’t go a week without having her tacos. She loved watching her true crime shows - there wasn’t a day a true crime show wasn’t on the TV. Nicole loved to shop, which was a diversion from her breast cancer and treatment. She enjoyed taking care of the flowers in the yard, especially the roses and sunflowers. Nicole loved her gnomes - she was always adding any gnome she could get her hands on to add to the yard decorations. Nicole loved to spoil her dog, Dakota, with everything possible. She absolutely loved traveling, especially going to Florida. Recently, her fiancé, Jared Wedell took her to Las Vegas, which was on her bucket list. When she was there, he proposed to Nicole while visiting the Grand Canyon. She said yes.
Nicole was a fighter with her breast cancer and never gave up. She would win a battle, then a new battle would come up and she would fight that one off too. Nicole had a great support team to keep her going and an amazing fiancé who supported her to end of her breast cancer journey.
Nicole will be deeply missed by her fiancé, Jared Wedell; his 3 boys, (Carter, Leonardo and Wesley); her mother, Debra Haufe (Michael); her sister, Samantha (Jason) Mai; her brother, Shawn Parcher; her daughter, Nataila Nitka; her nieces, Amaya Walton and Kylin Mai; her nephews, Shamus Parcher and Stetson Parcher; her aunt, Lori Weldy; her uncle, Rick Weldy; her beloved dog, Dakota; and one close friend, Desiree Miller, whom Nicole would call her “second mom.”
Nicole had a passion of seeing her daughter, Nataila Nitka graduate for high school in June.
Nicole is preceded by death by her daughter, Sabrina M Fowles.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date late May 2026. Please watch Facebook for more information.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses, doctors, and all other supporting staff at ThedaCare Cancer center, especially Dr. Shannon Schmidt and Dr. Joseph Bovi; ThedaCare At Home Hospice; and Froedtert Medical College of Wisconsin for their excellent care and compassion given to Nicole in this time of need.
