Robert "Butch" Jahnke

Robert (Bob, Butch) Harvey Jahnke, 67, passed away peacefully at his home on 1-1-2024 in Kaukauna, WI.  Bob was born 11-24-1956 in Appleton, WI and was raised in Steven's Point, WI by the late Keith and Shirley Jahnke.

 

Bob graduated with a business degree from the University of Wisconsin Steven's Point.  In 1989, he moved to Neenah and married Karen Church, with whom he had 2 children, Matthew Robert and Kendra Anne.

 

In 2002 Bob met Jan (Nypan) Jackson and together they moved to Kaukauna, WI.  There he worked at Verhalen (Pella Windows) for 20 years until his retirement in 2020.

 

At a very young age, Bob began enjoying the outdoors and wildlife, including trapping, spring and fall turkey hunting, fishing and deer hunting.

 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Shirley Jahnke and brother Jeff Jahnke.  He is survived by his partner Jan Jackson, his son Matthew, daughter Kendra and siblings Nancy VanDeHey, Betsy (Ben) Banasik, Anne (Mike) Fox, John (Sandy) Jahnke, Sarah (Robert) Gemmell, Mary Brandt and many nieces and nephews.

 

A celebration of Bob's life will be held this summer, on the water with the location to be determined. More information to follow.
