Robert L. Croker Jr., age 88 of Eagle River, passed away on September 4, 2023.

Robert was born on July 10th 1935 in Eagle River, WI to Robert Sr. and Caroline Croker. He graduated from Eagle River High School in 1953. After High School, he attended Farming and Agricultural School in Madison, WI. Robert Jr. (as known as “Bobby”) had his own excavating business, Croker’s Excavating. He also had his own Hereford Farm and was very passionate about his farm. Bobby was well-known in Eagle River and everyone who knew him, loved him.

Bobby had many hobbies of stock-car racing, haying, hunting, and of course his cows and other animals. He loved hanging out with all his buddies and having a couple beers while telling many stories.

While in the Caring Facility, Bobby answered a question that stated: “What motivates you?” and he answered his family. Bobby loved being a Dad and a Papa. He taught his grandkids how to do things like bale hay, call the cows in, and how to have a good time.

Robert Jr. was preceded in death by his wife Karen Croker, parents Robert Sr. and Caroline Croker and his siblings Connie (Marvin) Spafford and Candis Croker McGinn.

He is survived by his two children Rod (Jill) Croker, Kim (Robert) Garske; 7 grandchildren – Ryan (Bre) Croker, Logan (Kelsey) Croker, Bailey Croker, Paris Croker, Jensen (Nick) Fassbender, Gracen Garske, and Emercyn Garske; 3 great-grandchildren – Rhett and Avery Croker and Oakley Croker. He is further survived by his siblings Anita (John) Lansing and Nancy (Bill) Countney and brother in-law Jim McGinn.

There will be a celebration of life at Kula Ranch in Eagle River, WI on September 16th 2023 at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to come celebrate and share stories of Bobby. Bobby (Papa) will be forever loved and missed.

Our family would like to thank Little Chute Health Services for all their guidance and support for our dad. He truly felt “at home” there.
