Robert Daniel Guenterberg

Robert Daniel Guenterberg, 80 years, passed away February 22, 2019 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He was born May 14, 1938 in Hustisford, Wisconsin a son of Evelyn and Herman Guenterberg. On October 24, 1959 Robert D. and Diane D. Guenterberg (Spittel) were married in Mayville, Wisconsin.

Robert was a proud member of the Wisconsin National Guard for six years. He was an employee of Kroeger food store, JC Penny, Weavers Auto Parts in Wautoma, Wisconsin, a Supervisor at Chrysler Outboard in Hartford, Wisconsin, and was a supervisor at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin until his retirement.

Robert will be missed by his wife Diane Guenterberg of Neshkoro, Wisconsin, children Randy Guenterberg of New Lisbon, Wisconsin, Dawn Colbert Guenterberg of Menasha, Wisconsin, Robert Jr (Debbie) Guenterberg of Princeton, Wisconsin, and Rob (Sally) Guenterberg of Slinger, Wisconsin, siblings David (Gail) Guenterberg of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin, Evelyn Winters of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin, Daniel (Marilyn) Guenterberg of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin, Ruthann (Doug) Schultz of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Lucille (Glenn) Berndt of Horicon, Wisconsin, and Mary Guenterberg of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin. Further survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Herman Guenterberg, in-laws Evelyn and Peter Sorgent, brother-in-law Ervin Winters, Lawrence Spittel, Orville Nietzel, and son-in-law Wayne Colbert, and daughter-in-law Tina Guenterberg.

A Memorial Mass for Robert will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 315 N. Main St., Neshkoro, Wisconsin. Fr. Dale Grubba celebrant. Family and friends may gather at the Church from 9:30 am until time of Mass. Military Honors following Mass.
