Robert J. Davis

Robert (Bob) James Davis of Appleton, Wisconsin, unexpectedly passed away at home on April 11, 2023. Bob was 65 years of age.

Bob was born on May 5, 1957, to Dorothy and William Davis in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the second of four children. He graduated from San Carlos High School in San Carlos, California, in 1975. Bob worked at Grande Cheese and, more recently, at Jack’s Maintenance before his retirement.

Bob was an intelligent and calm man. He loved nature and enjoyed canoeing, fishing, hiking, and biking. He also enjoyed playing musical instruments, especially the piano, clarinet, and banjo.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and William Davis, and younger brother, James Davis. He is survived by his son Matthew Davis, daughter Melissa Asmus, grandsons Kaden and Graesyn, sister Catherine Houlston (Harvey), brother John Davis (Susan) and nephews Andrew and Evan.
