Roy G. Lippert, age 86, of Appleton, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Roy was born on May 8, 1929, in the Town of Ellington to the late George and Edna (Nussbaum) Lippert. He was a quiet, easy-going and kind man. Roy was employed for many years at Fox Tractor Company, retiring in 1984. Roy was well known for his long walks throughout Appleton and Kaukauna.
Survivors include his brother, Kenneth Lippert, Oshkosh; his sisters, Betty (Joseph) Boyle, Appleton, and Ethel (Alvin) Steinberg, New London; his very special nephew, James Kohl and very special niece, Carla Schwark; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Elaine (Earl) Kohl, Agnes (Raymond) Kohl and Helen (Jack) Besaw; his sister-in-law, Marian Lippert and his nephew, Robert Lippert.
Private funeral services will be held. Roy's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the caregivers at Appleton Retirement Community and, during his very last week, at Cherry Meadows. The Heart of The Valley Crematory is serving the family.
