Sallie M. Blaske of Oshkosh passed away peacefully in her home on May 19, 2023. She was born February 3, 1950 to Edwin and Marcella (Paukner) Kitchen. She spent her life in Oshkosh, a graduate of Lourdes Academy.
Sallie spent years working at the well-loved Anchor Inn as a waitress and earned her way up to administrative roles including payroll. She moved onto Fleet Farm before joining the Radtke Contractors Inc where she retired from.
On September 22, 1973 she married the love of her life, Terry W. Blaske. Sallie is survived by her sons, Timothy (Tera Binder & son, Alan) Blaske of Oshkosh; Robbie (Melissa Funcke) Blaske of Berlin; two grandsons, Theo & Thomas Blaske of Berlin; her sister, Margaret (Kitchen) Coats and brother-in-law, Phil Coats of Summerfield, FL; brother James T. Kitchen and Sister-in-Law, Marcia (Peck), of Friendship, WI; sister-in-law, Diane (Blaske) Stecker. Sallie is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed visiting the family cabin where you would find her and her husband, Terry, every weekend relaxing, enjoying nature, and playing with their dogs. She loved to decorate the yard and put her own personal touch on everything! She cherished visiting with friends and family, especially her best friend, OJ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, in laws, and other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 9, 2023 at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, WI from 11:00am - 1:00pm with catered food and a walk down to the gravesite afterwards.
