Scott R. Fields, 70, of Hilbert, Wisconsin, died peacefully on June 16, 2026. His family is grateful that Scott is finally at rest.

Scott was born in Appleton, Wisconsin to Adrian and Thelma Fields and grew up in Appleton. He will be remembered for his humor, stubborn independence, work ethic, storytelling, and Harleys. Throughout his life, Scott worked in Appleton Paper Mills, enjoyed attending music festivals especially blues, cared about keeping a dedicated fitness routine at the YMCA. Scott shared an important chapter of his life with his former wife, Tami, who remained very dear to him.

He is survived by siblings; Steve, Sandy, Stuart, Stacia, Samuel, and Sean, numerous nieces and nephews, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Adrian Fields and Thelma Fields.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 1st at 3 pm in Scott’s backyard around the fire circle. For details and directions call 715-258-2059 ask for Stacia or leave a message.

Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Scott’s life in a simple and meaningful way. In lieu of flowers, please keep things simple. Food is provided. Bring beverage to drink (BYOB), a chair for the bonfire, a photo, or a short memory of Scott if you would like.
