Terry Nieft

Terry Nieft, born January 8, 1953, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026.

He loved his family deeply and cherished time spent with friends, children, and grandchildren. Whether gathered around a campfire, sitting at the fishing hole, sharing stories around the dinner table, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments meant the world to him. He was always ready for a road trip and happy to follow wherever the wind might take him.

He split his time between Appleton, Wisconsin and Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

His love for adventure, laughter, and togetherness will live on through all who knew and loved him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (Hoida) Nieft and Alfred Nieft, siblings Glenn and Gail.

He is survived by his children: Eric (Beth), Adam (Kelly), and Sara (Joseph Warner); his beloved grandchildren Hadley, Samuel, Charles, Hugo, and Jovie; and his sisters Mary Jo (Dave Nordin) and Sue (Dave McCarthy).

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Family and friends are encouraged to gather in their own way, share a story, light a campfire, or simply take a little adventure in his memory.
