Our beloved mother, Toni Kaye Herriot, passed away in her home on September 27, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 30, 1955 to Stewart and Avis Kaye Thompson. She grew up in Wisconsin Dells attending Wisconsin Dells High School and later attending the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County. She married Richard Herriot in 1975 and together they shared 43 beautiful years. Toni devoted her life to her family and friends, raising her three children in Kaukauna, WI. She spent most of her career in food service having grown up in the restaurant business at her parents beloved Wisconsin Dells restaurant, The Ranch House. In her younger years tap dancing was one of her great pastimes, earning her the nickname Tappin’ Toni. In her later years she loved reading and being with her many friends and grandchildren. She was known for her sense of humor and was often described as the life of the party.
Toni is survived by her children: Christian (Jenna Freeman) Herriot, Madison; Erica (Steven) Novak, Little Chute; and Kerry (Taylor) Wilson Kaukauna; Grandchildren: Kingston Herriot, Emersyn Novak, and Ellie Wilson. Brother and Sister In-laws: Cindy Thompson, David (Shari Davis) Herriot, Patrick (Vickie) Herriot, Floyd (Kay) Herriot, Neal Herriot, Pam Herriot, Dawn Pokszyk, Deirdre Lalicata, Holly (Peter) Kolchalka, Mary (Nicholas) Schneider, and Heidi Herriot.
