Wendy "Wenda" Jo Winkler

Wendy (Wenda) J. Winkler, age 61, passed away on May 20, 2022. She was born in Appleton on February 27, 1961 to William and Joyce Winkler. She also had a younger sister Lynn Winkler. Wendy graduated from New London High School in 1979. She worked at Pierce Manufacturing for 25+ years, while residing in Appleton, WI.  

 

Wenda was a creative survivor of MS, and lived her life to its fullest with much grace and dignity. She enjoyed buying/selling on Varagesale. She was a social butterfly, having selfless compassion and thoughtfulness for others. She embraced her spiritual side, and found peace with a listen to the group Pentatonix. She loved Art Deco, and embodied the graceful sensuality of Renaissance women. She had passion for animals, nature, and the feeling of mother earth in her hands while gardening.

 

She is survived by her mother, sister, relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and her cat companions, Indy & Mr. Brew.

 

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
