Yvonne Alinda was born in Williston, North Dakota, to Melvin and Ruth (McDaniel) Krogen on July 30, 1952. Living in rural Williston she attended Williston Schools and graduated from Williston High School in 1970. On a blind date (thanks Kathy and Tom) she met her life long partner and best friend Robert “Bob” Topp. Married in 1972, together they raised their three daughters Robynn, Paytre and Emi.

Of the various jobs Yvonne held, three she enjoyed the most. Floral designer, library cataloger and the most important a stay at home mom when her girls were younger. She loved spending time with her family and friends, great company, conversation and stories, and lots of good food. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, remodeling houses with her husband, and making the best cream wafers. In 2023 she and Bob made the big move from Williston to Wisconsin to enjoy life near the lake.

On September 20, 2024, she left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband Bob of 52 years, daughters and their families: Robynn & Dean Clawson of Raymond, MT, and their sons Thomas and Jesse; Paytre Topp & Sam “Rufus” Williams of Santa Monica, CA, and their daughters Lillian and Cleo; Emi and Bryan Eidemiller of Appleton, WI, and their daughters Evie and Brielle. Also survived by sisters Agnes Crovella (John McGee), Suzanne “Tudy” (Ron) Homiston, and brothers Melvin (Sandy) Krogen, Leif (Christine) Krogen; and sister-in-law Marilyn Krogen. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Ted “Frog” Krogen.

A Celebration of Life for Yvonne was held in Appleton, Wisconsin
