Zachary Paul Plonsky

Zachary (Zach) Paul Plonsky, 34, left us on Wednesday July 16, 2025. Zach was born on June 18, 1991, in Fond du Lac WI to Michael and Angela Plonsky (Schwartz). He was a graduate of Waupun High School. Zach never married but has 2 beautiful children, Ashton Plonsky (14) and Kinsley Plonsky (8). They were the love of his life.

In 1995 his parents married, and Zach gave his mom away.

There are many accomplishments Zach had in life. Mom and Dad kept him very busy. Zach played hockey, in Waupun through his school years, he continued to play adult league for many years. Zach raced a JR Dragster for several years “Neighborhood Nuisance”. He raced Flat-Trac motorcycles and loved to bow hunt with his kids. He was extremely proud the year he took his son to harvest his first dear.

Zach loved to fish for walleye and Salmon. He always strived to perfection; he loved the challenge to figure out the pattern of the fish. There were not many times he went fishing and did not catch his limit, or more. Zach enjoyed Musky fishing with his brother Colton.

Zach started shooting his recurve bow around 12 years old. He would spend hours practicing and shooting, a few years later he tried out shooting a compound bow, and modern equipment. (special thanks to Dean K) Zach grabbed this opportunity and made it part of his life. He wanted to learn and perfect the sport. Zach absolutely cared so much about the archery community and the ARCHERY FAMILY. He was always working on or attending a shoot or tournament somewhere. Zach had many great accomplishments in Archery, including a perfect 660 score in the Lancaster qualifying. He also won the 10k a day shoot off in Vegas. Zach loved to shoot his bow, and promote Archery, he loved when the kids got to meet the pros at the shoots. He had an addiction, and dedication to archery that was beyond explanation. He has gained so many special friendships throughout the years it would be impossible to list everyone.

Zach had a special love for his two children that was beyond explanation. He has stated many times, they will never understand how much more I needed them, then they needed me. He loved to take his daughter on crazy motorcycle rides with his music blasting. He enjoyed his son going to work with him and spending long days together.

Zach cared deeply about his sister, and enjoyed her generosity, they spent lots of memorable hours together. Zach had loved to tease people and make bets in his words “lets double down” He had a special little snicker that he would display when he could get under your skin. He could make his brother go from 2- 10 in less than 2 seconds and loved it. Zach enjoyed the game Monopoly and there were not many people that have ever beat him.

“It’s never goodbye, it’s I will see you later”. Zach believed in God and believed in Heaven; He believed that angels helped paint the skies and make beautiful sunsets. He has told us when you see an amazing sunrise and sunset, now that I made that for you to enjoy.

Zach is survived by his son Ashton Plonsky, Daughter Kinsley Plonsky, Brother Colton and (Bree, nephew Jerry) Plonsky, Sister Gracie Plonsky. Parents Mike and Angie Plonsky, Grandparents Ken and Mary Meilahn. Uncle Tony and (Rachel) Plonsky, Aunt Chris and (Mark) Binsfeld, Aunt Tammy Schwartz, Aunt Amy Schwartz, several cousins, and extended family members. His cats or furballs Bella and Bitchy.

He was proceeded in Death by, His Grandparents Jerry and Darlene Plonsky & Derald (Hermie) Schwartz. Great Grand parents Wilmer and Betty Benzel, Bev and Clarence (Goat) Meilahn, Paul and Florence Berlowski, Uncle Mark and Aunt Kim Plonsky, Cousins Nichole, and Gerald (Buddy) Binsfeld.

The Family would like to give a special thanks to some of his amazing friends, Hunter M, Riley S, Ryan M his friend and employer, Wyatt M, Mason, Dalton H, Parker W, Alex K, and so many others.

Cremation has taken place

The family invites everyone to his; Celebration of life. It will be held at Korneli’s on Avenue 605 Fond Du Lac Avenue in Fond Du Lac on Aug 15, 2025, from 4-9:30pm

All donations will be divided into trust funds for his 2 children
